Brian Callinan

Born in Kilkenny, Ireland, Brian moved to London as a child. From an early age, he exhibited a keen interest in drawing and went on to study art at collage, but due to life and circumstances, ended up going down a very different route. After many years as a crane driver, Brian knew it wasn't the path he wanted to continue down. He recognised the longing to fully express his artistic passion. This realisation prompted him to relocate to Bournemouth in his late 30s, where he pursued a Master’s degree in Fine Art at The Arts University Bournemouth. This move marked a turning point for Callinan, giving him the opportunity to immerse himself in his creativity and further hone his skills.
